shooting at the virginia shool tech

i would like to write a little word about the shooting at the virginia shcool tech. i had never listened about one thing like that. people who go to shoot the others in a public space it's something that happens sometimes. but, mostly of the time, people who do that have individualists reasons. this time, the gay who did that, denounced the poverty and the discrimination from rich people against poor in the same school. this is new. the reason is a social one. for sure, usa have to control the arms. for sure too, society must change. we don't know but if the society didn't was so much discriminating, maybe this kind of situation could be avoid.

About some news

CNN television news on Sunday after noon.

I listened the news yesterday at the CNN post.

I learned about a lot of things.

There was one report about the trailers park residences for people who must be remove after the hurricanes in U.S.A.

Another news was about Bin Laden. Nobody knows where he is. The title of the news was: Bin Laden: Mountain man? For Bin Laden is pretty save to go to the region of the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan. For the Americans, it's very hard to go there. The CIA said that Bin Laden is a talented insurgent. Pakistan denies U.S.A. claim that Bin Laden hiding in N.M. mountain.

Another news was about a Street Fight. I couldn't understand where was the riot happening but the reporter said that people were protesting and they were doing it very well and in a big way.

The last news I eared was about Rats in the city. In a little and poor town in U.S.A., an infant was attacked by rat while he was sleeping. A commentator said that is frequently rodent infestation when your environment includes abandoned houses, garbage in every where in the streets, etc.

first lady of usa

i listened this week an interview with the first lady of USA. the interviewer was larry. i forgot his last name, at CNN television.
The first lady was talking about her campaign's hearth disease. i didn't understand very well but i think that she was speaking about on dress collection to finance the foundation. after all, she contested the questions about stress. what to do to erase stress? she told the public that just going outside and take a walk is very good to fight stress and to keep yourself healthy. She said too that it's important to eat good things. in her opinion, women have to pay attention to their body. for example, they have to check their level of cholesterol.
the interviewer asked her about her children. She has two girls, one of them is working for UNICEF in Latin America and the other one is living in new york. she explained that it was very hard to the girls to heard bad things about their father, bush junior, the president. if you permit me to contest, i understand why people don't appreciate president bush.
the conclusion of the interview was focused on the campaign around heart disease.

Brazil and the Amazonia

Yesterday i listened CNN television and i saw one report on the situation in Amazon. The name of the emission is Planet in peril. The reporter was explaining us the topic that during the last 40 years, 40% of the Amazon burned and native people couldn't preserve the territory. They don't have the power to do it. They're living in primitive houses built with water and sand. The houses are divided in two parts. We have a place to sleep and another one to cook. We're talking about very poor habitations. That people doesn't understand, agreeing with the reporter, what happening in their country. There's no more trees, no more water, no more plants, no more animals. They have a traditional way to live. They live with their land. Land assume the function as a mother who gives to you all you need to survive. But the land dies. How can they survive now? That's the question that the reporter asked. Brazilian government should do something. It must find a solution. Amazon isn't only a Brazilian natural place. We're talking about on natural richness of our planet. Brazil have to protect it if we want to stop perils in the planet.

Uniforms, yes or not?

Uniforms, Yes or No?

I agree in every point of view with the author of the “Minimum Wage Hell” written by Aisley Slattery and Val Cross even they are very sarcastic.

First, when people earn a coveted five buck an hour, it means a meagre salary, it’s humiliated to have to wear almost anything that it’s not conforming to your personality and that you have to pay for. In the possibility as workers likes uniforms, why don’t employers let workers choose if they want to wear a uniform and decide what kind it could be? Comfortable uniforms that they don’t have to pay for, for example.

Second, it isn’t true that visible piercing suggest unsanitary standards. I don’t understand this kind of comparison between piercing, tattoos and sanitary standards. It’s a kind of prejudice that we don’t need in our century, in our society. Physical appearance doesn’t override personality.

Third, in reality, it’s a step back in time because we’re trying to change the way to think of all of us concerning people who choose to have a different lifestyle. Certainly, they may feel oppressed and discriminated. The important, it’s not what you looked for, but who you are. To be pretty or to have a nose rings (it doesn’t mean that you’re not pretty anyway) don’t alter the art of bagging groceries, for example. It doesn’t alter performance.

Fourth, if I apply this situation to me, I’m very happy today to don’t must to wear a white teacher uniform like it was the tradition long time ago.

People Smart and Self smart

Have I Skill in the "people smart" area?

I answer the test at the sixty page and finally I could Know the results. My profile is : A. People smart (4) and E. Self smart (3). What that means?

The author says: "If you are the person everyone comes to for advice, you have "interpersonal intelligence" Let's see if I can apply this to me.

I don't think that everyone comes to for my advice. First, because I'm a honest person who's says mostly every thing she thinks. People, who don't agree with my opinions, don't come to me. In the other way, it's true that I like to help the others and I appreciate to live in society, with my community.

Sometimes, I feel sadly when I realise that the world in not turning round. For example, all the wars around the Earth, all the problems about ecology, all the problems about health, etc. But I keep going; things look hopeful. I'm a dreamer.

I think that I'm am an sympathetic and sensitive to people's mood. Not every time, because when we work, some times we don't have the necessarily patience to listen everybody. Each time, I give advices, I try to speak with ma experience, looking all the solutions that it is possible to take. People think that if you have one problem, you can just have one solution. I don't think so. I have a another vision; for one problem, we have a lot of solutions and if the first on is not good, ether the best one, we have to try another one. It's the best way to continuous fitting and living. Indeed, we never feel disappointed.

I like to learn, and I learn very well, by taking things over with others. Each time I have one occasion, I show every thing I learned to other people. It' important in our communities this idea of sharing out. That's why I'm a teacher and I like too much my job.

Have I Skill in the "self smart" area?

Yes. I learn well too by listening to my inner voice. I can say that I really know a little beat myself and I use that knowledge constructively.
